Trust & responsibility

Confidence belongs in the design.

Privacy, security and human oversight are operating requirements. Define them alongside the workflow, before information moves and before AI takes action.

OUR DESIGN PRINCIPLES

Control at every important step.

Collect with purpose

Minimize personal information. Establish the purpose, permitted use, retention and access for each data category.

Separate access and responsibilities

Use scoped identities, least privilege and explicit customer boundaries. Keep credentials out of model context.

Direct AI deliberately

Treat external content as untrusted input. Bound tool access, preserve source context and put approval before consequential action.

Follow the information lifecycle

Consider source systems, files, search indexes, logs and backups together. Design for export, access changes and deletion.

Prepare for recovery

Define incident ownership, backups, restoration checks and exception handling around the service’s operating needs.

Make assurance verifiable

Connect controls to owners, evidence and release reviews. Separate intended architecture from independently assessed operating effectiveness.

ASSURANCE THAT FITS THE SCOPE

Specific obligations.
Specific evidence.

Jurisdiction, data type, customer role and intended use determine the requirements for a deployment. Privacy law, contractual controls and sector obligations need assessment against that actual scope.

Our assurance approach uses control mapping, deployment reviews and evidence planning. A design principle is not a certification. Calderbridge does not currently claim an independent SOC 2 report or blanket regulatory compliance.

BEFORE LIVE DATA

Agree on the
operating boundaries.

  • Data categories, purposes and customer responsibilities
  • Hosting region, subprocessors and transfer requirements
  • Access roles, human approvals and incident contacts
  • Retention, export, deletion and recovery requirements
  • Applicable controls, acceptance evidence and support scope
YOUR NEXT CHAPTER

Bring your requirements into the conversation.

A useful assurance discussion starts with the work, the information and the responsibilities involved.
